This is exactly why I wrote this article. I find Daily UI is a common pitfall for many beginners that I speak with. They’re not sure how to build a portfolio or what to work on, so they end up doing Daily UI. It sucks time and motivation out of many aspiring designers and has minimal payoff as opposed to other ways they could be investing their time.
